With over five decades of experience in the sandal industry, PT Daimatu Industry Indonesia has continued to grow and innovate in both design and quality to meet the needs of local and global consumers.

In 2012, the company launched its own brand, Cortica, dedicated to producing comfortable, stylish, and durable sandals for men, women, teens, and children. The name “Cortica” is inspired by “cork”—a key material used in many of its products.

PT Daimatu Industry Indonesia created Cortica out of concern over the growing influx of imported sandals featuring footbed and arch support technology that were sold at relatively high prices. We believe that the right footwear should provide more than just comfort — it should also contribute to better foot health and overall body posture.

Footbed and arch support technology are widely recognized for helping support the natural shape of the feet, promoting better posture, helping prevent flat feet, and providing greater comfort for people with plantar fasciitis.
